I have been a long standing patient of Barry Abrahams and made the mistake of moving away to a more accessible High Street dental chain when Barry moved the practice from Southall to Ickenham.

The error of my ways became clear when, after several years of routine checkups with my new dentist, the time came for an old filling to be replaced. The pain that ensued prompted a swift return to Barry and it transpired that the replacement filling had been poorly fitted over existing decay that should have been identified previously.

What should have been a routine filling replacement subsequently required extensive root canal work and reshaping of the tooth by Barry and Randir, his Dental Nurse.

A trip to the dentist now takes me longer than it used to, but for me it is worth making the journey to Ickenham to be sure that I am receiving first class dental care from a team that has well and truly earned my trust. I have also taken my sons away from the well known High Street dental chain and will take them to Swakeleys from now on.

I had a huge fear of going to see a dentist, and had not been for some time. My partner has attended this practice for many years and phoned Dr Abrahams on my behalf. My teeth were in need of a considerable amount of work, and I feared that at least one may need to be taken out.

Dr Abrahams examined me and went through what would be needed to get my teeth "back in shape" which included 2 crowns and a number of fillings, including some root canal work.

Despite my initial fears, these were soon allayed by the calm, professional manner in which both Mr Abrahams and his staff acted.

All my treatment has been completed and I am not only incredibly pleased with the results, but no longer have any fear of the dentist - in fact in my last visit I confirmed to Dr Abrahams that "I was a convert!"
